Alright here is my problem terra grapplers handle so bad 4runner always feels loose on highway. i have a 2 inch spacer that goes on top of coil i guess its called a top out spacer no lift in back looks pretty level but when i tow my boat and jet skis it sags down. terra grapplers lasted 15000 miles im looking to get a set of 265 70 17 (same size i have) kevlar mtrs.... but i was wondering if i lift the back will it make the steering feel better it always feels light. also would a load range e handle any better. lastly do u think with the two inch spacer and spidertrax will 265 70 17 fit in mtrs? thanks very much... 4runner is an 07 with 46000 miles v6 4wd

1) The tires will fit
2) Lifting the rear wont really change how it drives
3) The MTR's are going to handle far worse, provide a worse ride, more road noise and in general be a much poorer on road tire. Just make sure you know what you you are getting yourself into.

May sound dumb, but you get the truck aligned after it was lifted, correct?

yes i got it aligned right after i put the lift in.... does anyone have any tire suggestions? i want more feel in steering on highway it feels all over the place i think there is a lot of play in tires sidewall... and will airbags in the back give it a little more stability

If you feel like the tires aren't strong enough go for a higher load range such as E. Are your current tires inflated properly?

Two jet ski's really don't weight that much. I'm not sure why your having a problem.

Yeah I have the 2.5/1.5 Daystar and 1.25 spacers with no bad handling on the freeway at all. I never got the alignment because I was hoping the tires would wear out so I could get new ones! (shhh don't tell my wife). Those damn Dunflops need to go. Incidentally, I tow a 21ft wakeboard boat and my truck does not sag much at all when towing. I'd complete the lift, check the alignment, and make sure the tires are inflated properly.

air bags out back will help some, u can try a different load range tire (D or E)but dont be surprised if it drives/rides more truck like. personally, i have both of these & prefer it that way.

If you don't take it in the mud, you should look at BFG All Terrains; they last FOREVER and pretty good handling on the road, and no noise basically (coming from the guy that has Mud Grapplers, haha).

There are much better AT choices for a vehicle that stays on the road most of the time.

BFG's aren't known to excel in the rain.

I totally agree! But he also was mentioning a mud tire, so it must not stay on the road all the time. I just suggested them because they last soooo long!

I'd work my way ground up.
It starts with tires and then a proper alignment. Those front spacers have no function (besides the level look when you're not towing). I'd either take them out or get a proper suspension setup which will aid your towing.
