Somewhat related question. It looks like the lug nuts require a 21mm wrench.
Having had a flat recently I found the factory lug wrench a little short, somewhat lacking in torque.
Did anyone here got a bigger lug wrench just in case the lug-nuts get seized over time and you find yourself on the side of the road cursing at the nut you can't remove with the OEM wrench?

Buy a 21mm socket and a breaker bar from harbor freight.

One post says 12MM, another post says 21MM... which is correct?

21MM is the lug nut size for Toyota 4Runner but 12MM x 1.50 refers to the thread pitch. Based on your questions, I would just go to Discount Tire or Toyota dealer and have them help you. Lug nut types depend on the rims you are using.
If you are using factory OEM rims then you need to buy 73138TXL (Gorilla Automotive Products).
