What size bolt & locking nut for front sway bar bracket?

I was changing out my sway bar bushings and both the bolt and welded stud broke off on my passenger side sway bar bracket.
I have already ordered the bracket online as both the bolt and stud are stuck on the old one but I will need to get the new bolt and nut from a hardware store but I don't know the size.
Does anyone know what they are? :noidea:

M8-1.25. Bolt length you should be able to figure out from the old one. I'd guess 30mm but measuring is better.

any chance you remember the size for the bolt and nut? Might have possibly misplaced mine when taking it off and can't reference it for hardware store.

There's plenty of clearance above, so longer is fine. TheDurk already gave the size/pitch and a decent guess at length.

Hopefully your hardware store has grades of bolts. The typical brand stores get all their fasteners from a particular wholesaler.
I recommend a grade 5 bolt, min. If unfamiliar with bolt grades do a little internet reading.
The cheap import bolts are not reliable. I doubt you want to do this over when a cheap bolt head breaks off.
Some hardware stores have full displays of grade 3, 5, even 8 with matching hex nuts. In both metric mm) and ASE sizes.(fractional inches).
