What size Hitch Drop...

So, after putting on my lift I'm wondering what size hitch drop I should use to keep my truck not sagging and the camper level while pulling it. I can do simple math, but I want to make sure--get other's opinions. With the lift I gained about 4 inches in the back.

My hitch mount is at about 24 1/2 inches and my trailer (level) ball mount is at 19 1/2 inches.

I think a 4 inch hitch drop might work, but thought I'd check with y'all who have had experience. Thanks for your help!

Your truck is going to sag with LC coils anyway. You might have to invest in some airbags if you are going to trailer much.

Thanks, Singtoe. I know it's going to sagg some, but I'm trying to limit that while keeping the trailer level. I'm not made of money bags or the airbags would already be on.

Please let me know what y'all suggest on the hitch drop.

Put the trailer (fully weighted) on with your current drop ball mount and take some measurements...go from there. No one can give you a solid answer without knowing the weight of the trailer and the condition of your springs. I used a 5 1/4" drop for an 18' closed deck, dove tail car trailer and the trailer stayed level with any load I ever felt comfortable pulling with my runner, the truck looked like it was ready for launch though :lmao:

So, I tried a 4 inch drop, but I don't think it's low enough. I could get the trailer (it's a pop-up, by the way) onto the ball, but it looked like it was a launching pad for sure! I'm going to try a 6 inch hitch drop next and see if that does the trick.
