What size tire with 3in lift?

If someone could suggest a size that would be great. I added a rough country 3in lift last year. I’ll need some new tires soon but would like to keep the stock 17in wheels. Currently using 265/65’s. Or is there a thread that this is addressed already?

Yep, probably a bunch of them out there.

I copied this from Bilsteinlifts.com the other day. It’s rep responding to a question about tire size fitment on a 4th gen.

“Q. What size tires can I run on stock wheels with the 3″ kit?
We have not tested every wheel/tire size on these trucks, but 265/70/17 tires will fit the 4Runner on stock wheels.

Q. What size tires can I run on a 17×8″ wheel?
With 4″ or 4.5″ back spacing we have several trucks running 285/70/17 tires, but they may rub on the front depending on wheel width, and back spacing. We do not guarantee any tire/ wheel fitment and recommend you have your tire dealer install and “test fit” any wheel tire combination you are considering”



Here’s some other info

265/65-17 = 30.56”

265/70-17 = 31.61”

285/70-17 = 32.71”
