what the hell fuses

i want to preface this by saying i absolutely hate everything electrical and im slihtly drunkish. i have a pair of kc daylighters. 130w. the one bulb blew, i got new bulbs. i replced the bulnb. now, it just blows fusesand they dont come on. im going to stab these ****s.

get a multimeter if you don't already have one. you can find one for < $30 a Kragens or Amazon

Try this first> Pull the bulb that you replaced and swap the fuse. See if the other one works by itself. If by chance it does, and it is one of those bulbs held in by a spring clip, you probably got the spring wire where it contacts the hot lead causing a short to ground. Re-install making sure the clip does not touch anything it is not supposed to and neither does the ground wire.

Just guessing here but worth a shot. Did you get the same size bulb you had before? That's another possibility--too large a bulb (in wattage).
