I know there has been a lot of talk about tinting the front windows and what matches up the best and what looks the best. So what do you think will look the best on a 4thgen? 20% or 35%

It is funny you ask because this topic has never been covered.....
20% will match your factory Privacy Glass.
I have 35% because I don't want to get pulled over in my state of California, where front tint is illegal. Nevertheless, the heat reduction between 35% and 20% is no more than 5%.
PS. my fronts are regular 35% tint, rest is 50% Ceramic

Just had mine done about three weeks ago to 20%. I had just got back from Florida where my bro-in-law has his car tinted about 15% all around and the difference it made driving around I had to have it done when I got back.
I do want to get the front tinted about 50% to block UV. I'm not much for wearing sunglasses when driving, and sun glare seems to bother me more than other people I know.
BT216, how is it seeing out with the 5% on the back windows, especially during night driving? I thought about it for the rear quarter glass for more privacy/security, but I'm not sure about the back doors and tailgate glass.

As a heads up, you can't go 5% in the fronts unless you want it even more green than it is. The darkest I would go is 20%, otherwise you have to do a 35% base, with a 5% over it, otherwise it'll come out super green. Basically, limo tint over what you have now. I made that mistake, here's with 5% and then with the 20% or 35% and 5% over that.
As you can see, 5% alone is green. 5% over a lighter tint, not green. They are also good comparison shots of how gay my truck used to look. Gotta love lifts. (The first is with a cornfed 2/1.)

It doesn't bother you that the front windows are green and the rear are black? Maybe you just haven't noticed it much yet...either that or you are just in denial. But I promise you, it's green. There's no possible way to put 5% tint over stock glass without it being green, because it brings out the the color of the glass. Which is green.
It doesn't do it to the back windows because they have already been colored (not tinted) from the factory. Same rules apply to the front. You need a light tint to neutralize the green in the glass, before you can put dark tint over it.
