What tire size?

As I mentioned in an earlier post (headlight question) I am getting my Daystar 1" leveling kit installed this week. I am also going to be in the market for new tires soon. I am currently running 265/65/17 Firestone Destination AT. I am thinking of going with the Nitto Terra Grappler AT this time. I want to go with a larger tire, I know a 265/70/17 will work but is this the biggest size I can go with the 1" lift? If not what would be a good size to go with?

Some have ran 275/70/17 GYSA with little rubbing. Others go for 255/70/17 KM2 jeep tire.

That size Nitto will look perfect with that amount of lift IMO.

Just some other tires in the size you mentioned that you might want to look at are:

Revos, Toyo OC AT, Yokohoma Geolander AT, Pirelli Scorpion ATR, Michelin LTX AT2

I recently got the 265/70/17 KO's in LR C and could not be happier.

FYI, I dont care what others say, acceleration and breaking loss will definitely felt even with the V8 after upsizing.
