What to Buy?

-I didn't know if i should post this in the 3rd gen forum but ill put it here so i don't step on any toes!

Okay so i got around $300ish dollars from this Christmas and I'm stuck on what to buy!..Either the Bluetooth adapter for the stereo... ORR *Insert Ideas Below*

Well yea when it's already been done! and this is more of a money to spend/blow

Kind of on open ended question as we have no idea what your goals are for your truck. If you just wanna spend money or have cool gadgets I would get a ScangaugeII. Good addition and in your budget.

Make sure your lower ball joints have been changed, then you can be sure you have money left over to worry about. What are your plans for the truck? Lift in your future? Bluetooth is very nice, scangauge 2 if you're interested in what's going on, aux lights, etc.

So for anyone else just think what you'd get when you were 19...I'm really open for anything! I've been thinking of doing the LED swap since I saw the thread in the 3rd gen section just don't want to pull apart the car and not be able to put it back together... I don't know as much as I'd like about all the car stuff everyone talks about! But I do my best to research!

Have a look over the invoice for that work, odds are it won't have been done, but it's a VERY important peice of preventative maintenance on these trucks. If one lets go, it does a huge amount of damage, and depending on where it happens and what you're doing, could be deadly. Luckily most seem to fail at low speeds, but you can't expect that to hold true.

Enough about that, if you're into car stereo's, dynamat can make a big difference and get rid of a lot of road noise, you could find a nice set of used wheels in that budget, some recovery gear if you off-road at all, tools are always a good idea, etc.

ill have to check on that then. Also i would think to upgrade my speakers before going that far? i mean the subs do a decent job at block road noise anyway haha :shrug:
