What to buy?

So I have about $100-$150 to play with. What is something I should purchase for the Runner?

LED tail lights are right in that range.

I have a set that I could sell to you for a reduced price if you were interested.
 
I know I should have edited the last post, whatever! I have 265/75/16, If I get the 1.5" lift, is there anything I have to do other than put it onb and get an alignment?
 
I like the idea of getting a lift. However, with me, if I lift its going to be at least 3" but if you're just looking for looks and all that, then 1.5" would be fine! It gives you more clearance and bigger tires for a more aggressive look! All good things!

go 1" body lift like 4crawler.com instead....

Hood struts...and clear corners. Or save for an ARB bumper.

Good idea. But with a BL you dont get clearance with anything but your body. If you think you might take that off road, go suspension lift and then BL later.

I went offroading completely stock and every rock seemed to hit my undercarriage.

And to each their own, but I am more of Lift first, bumpers after.

Nothing agains Ron, hes a great guy and knows 3rd Gens WAAAAYYY more than I do. And plus, he has a sweet 3rd Gen himself.

These are just my opinions.

Problem is that on a spacer kit you are pissing money away, a body lift is actually worth itself because it will help if he ever getting 33's so that rubbing is minimize. I agree with Ron.
 
sell that brush guard use the money buy led tail lights and clears deckplate mod isr mod and a magnaflow muffler

Pissing money away? I'm running a spacer lift with a 1" BL and have gone everywhere my friends have! And if you want they'll chime in here and agree! I'm not saying it's the best route to go to get lift, I'm telling him that if it's just for looks or money then its a fine way to go. I went with the 3" spacer lift because at the time I couldn't afford the adjustable coils. But come the end of this summer, I guarantee you I will have Adjustable coils on my rig. BUT after my spacer lift, I also added a 1" BL. So I'm not just trying to sell the BL. Adding the suspension lift was my best decision in my eyes.

GOTBOOST, decide what you want and do what you want. You wanted the brush guard so keep it. If you want lift decide what lift. If you only want body lift, then get body lift. If you want to actually off road and get more clearance, then get spacers. You are doing a different route with the spacers in the rear too. I didn't do that. I just did the spacers up front but did a whole set up in the back just so i could get the adjustable coils in the front in the future.

In my eyes, if you want to get a small lift, but keep the overall look of your 4R but want to do something for lift. IN MY OPINION, go with the spacer lift.

Honestly, it's about 99% for looks. This is my DD and I rarely do too much off roading. And also for all the haters out there, I run M/T's on my DD. Hate away. Thanks for the advice A10.

I agree with you A10MileHusker, and don't worry about John, he knows how to push everyone's buttons haha.

GOTBOOST- No hate for having MT's, you should get what you want. IF I was you I'd get-
-weathertech mats
-cb radio setup
-fog lights and stealth reverse lights
-sport hood (idk how much paint would cost, if anyone could let me know?)
or save up for-
lift kit and armor.
Everyone has made some good suggestions, just depends on what YOU want. :frog:
