What to do?

Ok Heres my 02 T4R, Im looking to trick this bad boy out. Inside and out if you want to know.. Now im looking to put in a good bit of money. I dont need at much help on the inside and when i say inside i mean engine. Not Interior. Now for the exterior im looking into getting new head lights and tail lights a grill guard maybe new tires? with some nice rims.

For the interior i mean engine. I want sometime that will put a little more grunt in it. Im thinking some dual flowmaster pipes coming out the back.

I just dont have that trailer hitch.

Cold air intake and performance chip.
Is that enough to ge some decent power out of it?

I would match tint, get clear corners, and get some new rims.

Those Flows sound nice. Would you get a dual exhaust too?

You can do the Deckplate Mod which is the same as getting a cold air intake.

HID's would be really nice too.

the dual exhaust set ups on these trucks dont really do much to these trucks except make them sound cheap and domestic.

a CAI would prob. be a decent investment but if you want to just do it right the first time... buy a supercharger. TRD brand

you can find them on ebay all day long for between 2 and 2.5k

that will take your 190hp stock motor and transform it into a 265hp workhorse. then after you sc'd it i would do a CAI (not K&N though) do the doug thorley headers with a TRD catback exhaust.

a word of caution though, if you do sc it, then send your transmission valve body off to level 10 to get it reworked so you dont blow your tranny. you would also probably want to get URD's fuel mods and smaller pulley for the sc. oh, and DEF. get a tranny cooler if you do this.

ive heard reports of up to 300hp with variations of these set ups

as far as head lights and turn signals and taillights, i would leave them stock on the color you have, clear corners tend to look better on darker trucks.

HID bulbs in those housing are illegal and will blind other people, you could do a FX 35 projector retrofit with your stock housing, but thats quit a lot of work.

if you wan to change your wheels out, and want to stay somewhat stock, may i suggest the TRD ivan stewart wheels, they are 16" x 8" but look beautiful. other than that, i cant think of anything else you could do to have a POWERFUL, clean, stock looking truck.

Runner Up Very very good information and i will take some of your ideas into perspective. But some of them are just a little too much for my wallet haha.

I will be doing the Deck mod, getting some new headlights, maybe some led tail lights, Matching Tint on driver and passenger window and windshield, A nice exhaust set up, New Rims preferably the ones Runner up chose which i looked into, And a few other small Engine tweeks.

I appreciate the help guys and if anyone else has more information or ideas please feel free to comment.
