I just had my truck at the mechanics for a headgasket, which he is not going to do. On diagnosis he found 3 cyl were running at 160 psi, and 3 at 140, minimum is 143, plus she has a rod knock. So i'm looking for a new motor/rebuilt motor/ used on in good shape. Anything in particular I should look for? I'm going to be checking the compression test, but is there anything else? Also does anyone know a good place in Alberta, perferably close to Calgary to check?
