What to use for grill clips (90 runner)

Had to pull the grill recently to replace an a/c hose and those grill clips tend to disentegrate upon removal. I think if I buy the factory ones they are a one time use kind of clip
Anyone use any "reusable" type clips.

there is a trick to removing them .. actually it's kinda common knowledge , but I don't want you to feel bad .


If you LOOK at the clip before you tear off the grill .. you'll see ( with a MAG light ) there is actually a second slot in the grill ...

SIMPLY ... use a flat screw driver .. and move the clip end "up " and pull that area of the grill out .



honestly .. the OE clips will last forever , If done right .
