what trans cooler to get

i know everyone uses the b&M COOLERS. just wondering what size of cooler should i get? i got some store credit at autozone and want to use it for installing a trans cooler on my 98. im sure there is a certain size i need to cool correctly. anyone know the min. size i should get? would this one work? thanks. Compare the size to the B&M that you already know works. That's about the only thing that would prevent you from running any particular cooler.

I think what's also important is to have a thermostat or similar device that keeps the fluid circulating to the transmission until it reaches operating temperature, and then flows through the cooler. Running at too cold of temperature too long in the winters might have adverse affects on your transmission over time.

i just picked up the tru-cool 4589 after returning the b&m one, it looked a bit small so opted for the overkill route...
