Are you guy's using a Mac/Apple or PC ?

Just wondering cause I'm using a Mac G5 and a wireless Mac PowerBook G4.

Built my desktop PC too. Gave it to my brother for college, now using a Dell laptop.

I think Apple has a great product (has anyone noticed that Windows Vista will have a lot of similarities to the Apple Operating System?), I just need Windows for my purposes.
 
Built my own computers for myself and my family. Easiest thing to do... and.... I get to pick out the stuff that I want.

Apple = look nice.... just not use to the interface.
 
Dell Dimension 8400 desktop and a Dell Inspiron 6000D laptop.

I was going to build my desktop but it ended up being cheaper just buying it.

Same here -- it's almost 5 years old and still going strong. Work machine is an IBM ThinkPad -- only one I've found that can reliably take the rigors of lots of international travel.

lol, mine is actually about 5 years old too! I built it in 2001 after transferring to Georgia Tech.

that's why i built mine.. got components i wanted.. granted i spent more than i initially planned, but hey, it was worth it, imo..

It always ends up being more than what you want to spend.. because it'll only cost $50 to upgrade this... but then another $45 to upgrade this.. sooner or later your $400 over budget! lol.

now...... what specs do people have for their comp? :)

Nothing fancy at all ..... MSI motherboard with 1.2GHz AMD Athlon, 512MB memory, 400GB disk (three drives 80GB, 160GB, and 160GB), DVD burner, CD burner. It may be old, but it still gets the job done quite well.

And you???

Dell desktop for games

Work:
Toshiba Tablet w/ lots of memory!
Sony Vaio all in one Desktop (piece of crap)
Sony Viao laptop (eh it's ok)
HP Tablet (nice new toy)
G5 - Just picked it up w/ the 23"... WOW :)

gotta love the perks I have at work!

lets me edit photos, game, and watch movies and that's all I need it for... oh.. that and to surf T4R.ORG. :p

DELL 9300 laptop

Old Compaq desktop that I use basically for internet surfing because I dont really care what happens to it.

Oh, DELL desktop at work.
