What would I get with real lift?

The 4Runner flat gets it. If you have ever been to Western Oregon then you know that there is steep terain and lots of mud. My T4R has done everything I have asked of it. I have a spacer lift up front to accomidate 285 BFG AT (not great in mud BTW).
My question is- what would I get if I did a real lift? Because the stock suspension feels pretty darn good.

The reasons I got a suspension lift were:
- slightly better ground clearance
- stiffer shocks
- fit larger tires
- get a bit more "droop" over obstacles

If you're happy with your body lift and the current suspension you have then maybe you don't need a suspension lift...

Expanding on Intruder's reply, there is a significant improvement in vehicle handling. My Trail corners much better than it did on the stock suspension (and I have KDSS, which already is night and day to non KDSS). And for me ground clearance is vastly improved. I understand my differential clearance did not change as I am not running larger tires, but my front skid went from 8.5" to 12". Diddo for the gas tank and other areas.

I think if you drove a truck with a real suspension left it would feel very different than your spacers and stock components.

What lift spacer kit did you use? I'm trying to find a 2/1.5" or 2.5/2" kit right now.

Off topic a bit, but by chance, are you in the McMinniville, Sheridan area?

I have the Revteck. I had the dealer put it on as they said it would lift the truck about 3". I am pretty sure that what they put on is not 3" but it lifted enough to comfortably fit 285's.
And, I live in Eugene.
