What would you want in the 6th gen 4runner

If the 6th gen comes with a v-8 I'm selling my 4th gen and moving up!

I think a V8 paired with a 8 speed transmission would be a just as good as our current drivetrain in the mileage department.

I owned a Lexus ISF, and with the 5.0 liter V8 and 8 speed transmission, I got 26MPG on the highway, and 18 MPG city! That's better than I currently get with my 5th gen T4R.

OT - Reminds me of the time I picked up my sister and had been cranking the tunes on the way. I happened to have turned off the engine in between songs. She got in, I started the truck, she leaned over to put her purse on the floor and started playing...sort of loud. I about had an unwanted, passenger's side moonroof!

a built in factory hidden winch would be cool or at least an option to add it. for me the rest are cosmetic and would just add up to the cost of the car. if you are the driving offroad, at least with the winch, you'll be able to get out if you get stuck or help someone.

I wonder if there might be a few other differences between a slippery, low-slung RWD performance car that weighs under 4,000lbs and a high-riding 4wd truck that tips the scales at 4500lbs and has the aerodynamics of a block of wood that could account for the better MPG besides the engine and tranny? :laugh:
