What year is this 4runner? Help please!

Ok, so I ran across this 4runner a couple days ago and it is just way to cool. I was wondering what year it is and how much it would cost to get something like that. Doesn't have to be a lift like that though; becuase it looks like the front end is dripping down a bit, I'd rather have it flat all the way across.

I thought it was a 1996-1998 because of the front headlights. Any way to get a few more pics of the front to be sure?

Thanks for the info, what about the wheel and rim size? I'm new to the whole truck and 4runner thing, I'm thinking about whether buying a Toyota Truck or 4runner when I can. I'm 16 and almost have 5000$ saved up. Will buy the wills and other mods later.

I am moving this to the 3rd generation forum as I at least know it is a bad ass 3rd generation model.

To me, 98 would be my guess. Lets see if other 3rd generation members can help.

While no expert, guessing 5k for a 3rd gen in decent shape and another big chunk for the modifications. It is a sweet truck. Assume it has rear locker.

Start reading threads here and you can learn all about the mods I see the truck has

Hella lights
ARB like bumper
Lift
Shocks ???
33" tires at least
custom rims
Winch?

Think a second job is in order!

hmm, so a 98 I'm thinking. I was looking at other 98's and they look a like in a lot of ways. Thanks for the help! I really like those wheels too...gonna have to get me a set.

If J.A. says its a 98 then it is indeed a 98. That guy knows how to break down the different year 4Runners and trim levels.

That is a sweet 4Runner but I agree that it is a little too raked for my liking. Anyways, I'm sure you'll get hooked just like the rest of us did.

That's not Roo's Runner,his doesn't have chrome rear bumpers (anymore) or body cladding.
