What's a better buy?

Well after solving most of my electrical problems i was thinking about getting a k&n filter. my 4runner has always been using fram paper filters and i just wanted to replace that out and put a better quaility filter in. i'm going with a k&n filter but my question is should i just get a replacement or sould i get one that comes with an adapter and a k&n filter? i don't really want to spend 180+ on a k&n aircharger.

mods can delete this thread. i bought a k&n drop in instead of a k&n filter w/ adapter. i unplugged the battery then i took the time to clean the tb. after all that was done connected everything and added the filter. at first start up i notice that my t4r idled much smoother. took it for a drive and got better throttle response. it's not really a big difference in hp. just helped to regain lost hp and throttle response. so check your tb and filter guys.
