what's up? i'm from a little town called Kilgore, Tx. I just finished up my tech schooling here and i've been working as a tech for our local Toyota dealer for about 8 months now. My family has always been into toyota's, hell, i learned to drive in a 1980 Landcruiser FJ40. So, when my uncle asked me if i wanted his 86 4runner, i said hell yeah! it had a cracked block, so i changed the engine. Then, i got offered a job working for Toyota, and again, i said hell yeah! anyways, i work with these vehicles all day, everyday, so if anyone needs some insight from an actual tech, ask me. If i dont know the answer, i can definately ask some of the older techs that i work with.
