What's my 4Runner worth?

Soon going to upgrade to an FJ and do long travel, so I'll be looking to get rid of my 4Runner in the near future.

2004 SR5 V8 with 135k miles

Suspension:
OME 885 coils in the front
Superflex Rear
Bilstein 5100s all around

Other:
Pioneer DVD headunit
275/70R17 BFG A/T KO's with only 5k miles
Front bug guard (not pictured)
Spidertrax 1.25 inch wheel spacers

Truck is super clean. It's in PA, originally from MD with NO rust on the body or frame. Minor speckles on the skids and LCA's... super clean. 95% highway use with the occasional trip out to the sticks to hunt or fish.

Any ideas would be appreciated. I know what I paid for it back in April and would like to get about that much back out of it. Thanks guys!

First off really think about selling because you will probably end up regretting it. I sure as hell did with my first 04.

As for the question on value, I would guess 10-12k

I think I'm going to list it at 13k, which is what I paid for it from the dealership 7k miles ago. I've put about 2k in it, which I don't expect to get back.

I dealt with seller's remorse with my 2001 T4R and I still miss my first car, but I have really wanted an FJ since I was 16 and that will be my replacement for this. I plan on building it up really nice to wheel with my built Jeep buddies, something that's not so easy to do in a 4th gen.

Timing belt done? I would say 12k if it has been, 11k if not. Also, you didn't mention anything about options it has. Leather etc

I listed everything it has. I said it was an SR5, so no leather. I put in all of the stuff I added to it since I bought it.

Edit: Forgot to answer your original question. Yes, it has.

I'd love to!!! The problem is I'd have to travel to another part of the country entirely for a clean one. They don't exist in PA because rust has gotten them. I've only EVER seen one on the road since I started looking when I was 16... 3 years ago.

The other thing is, I'd like to revive my mom's 1987 BMW 318i from the dead, so I've already got another car I'll be working on after I get rid of this one. Hopefully I can get the FJ built to where I want and get the Bimmer running and use it as a daily driver.

I have no complaints with the 4th gen. It does everything I ask of it, and man do I love the V8 and full time 4wd. The single problem I run into is not being able to run with my friend's Jeeps, almost all of which are fully locked and on 33's. As much as it would cost me to make this that capable, I might as well have bought an FJ.

Between 8-12 depending on trade in or private sale. Sucks, but that's the reality of a 10 year old rig with 135,000 miles. The lift will limit the market as well. Some shy away from a lifted truck even if it's super clean.

Call me crazy. But you have a great truck. Add the lockers and some narrow 33's and call it a day.

IMHO Big picture wise I think once you trade in it or sell it, plus built a FJ it is going to cost you a lot more. Plus you know your maintenance history of your existing truck..

I just bought my '04 SR5 V8 for $10500 with similar miles. It was listed at $13000 but talked him down due to needing a timing belt. Many other V8s in the area with higher mileage were still being listed in the $12-14k range. Not sure how our market in Kansas City, MO compares to you though.

I did not know that the SR5 had a leather option. I thought that was only available in the Limiteds. I do not have JBL

When I went to buy this 4Runner I was offered 5000 for my 2001. They obviously assume everyone that walks in the door is a dipsh!t. Took two days but my trade in value ended up being 7500, which is exactly how much I wanted.
