Whats the best lift kit for 3rd gen

I have a 96 SR5 withh 226k miles on her and I just bought a 14 Tacoma 4dr. So now my 4Runner is going to be my trail and mud runner. I just need input on what kits people are using. I am looking for about a 4"lift

The best lift kit is the kit you research, take time and buy yourself. The one you piece together and install yourself. That will be your best kit. I saved hundreds building my own lift kit. There is no real lift kit for our vehicles. Most kits are just many different aftermarket parts pieced together to work for our trucks.

You can't do a 4" lift.

It's 12" of lift with 47" super swampers or nothin at all. You'll need 10" spacers with that too. And stickers......lots of stickers.

I wouldn't mind that at all! I do like to try to help those that are new to our forum before people rudely chime in just to rag on them. There are people out there that have never been on a forum before and just don't know better. Why discourage and purposefully try to make a new member feel stupid? A simple link to the lift info sticky and politely informing them that there is a search feature to help them with their research would make us as a forum look a lot better. Maybe instead of the title you should nominate me to be a moderator. That way I can close the threads before 5-10 people chime in to tell the OP they are retarded.
