You know, a better question than "what we call our rig" might be "what our rig would like to call us" sometimes! After this past Sunday's drive, I think mine might be using some "colorful" language--after beating the snot out of it on a nasty Class 4 (out of 5) trail, I slid it into a tree and proceeded to flatten out a door and the rear quarter panel...not good. I can picture my truck in a Yosemite Sam grumbling monologue after "waxing" it with tree bark!

I'm with you on that one. This past weekend at Rausch Creek we hit a gnarly boulder farm, and 'Honey Badger' wasn't happy getting her under belly beat to crap from all the hard hits.
I also upset her by seeing if 93 T4Rs float (they don't!). Entering in the wrong side of 'Frog Hole' (very deep!) I ended up sitting in water until the guys could yank me back out. Gotta love Toyotas - mine never died, but one of the D90 Land Rovers hit the water, and immediately stopped running. Ended up being towed back to camp. 'Honey Badger' arrived wet, but proud under her own power.

My friends always call it the "Runner" and then I started calling it that so that is its name

I haven't given mine a name yet but this past sunday it was being called The Grader. At a buddy's mud pit and all my friends talked me into trying to get through with some wimpy 31's I didn't make it through but I did a pretty good job smoothing out the mounds between the ruts with my skid plates and front end..

I just simply call my '95 "The Runner". My 5 year old son started calling it "The Snow Car", because it's white and has meaty off road tires. Lol. Love my freakin Runner though....isn't a 4x4....but love it anyhow. Don't think I'll ever be without a Runner till the day I croak!!!

Named mine "The Warthog" after hearing people on car forums refer to the 5th gen refresh as "Ugly as a Warthog" 
I wasn't really thinking about the Halo vehicle but I assume a lot of people think that's what I meant and it's not a bad secondary meaning. It does a similar job getting me and my troops to far away places
