What's this Elocker Missin??

What yota guys are you talking to? That chart is absolutely wrong, as has every single chart I have seen out there, including Brian's chart that Dous posted. My axle code is A04A, and my ratio is 4.30. The only rule that I think has been pretty spot on is that auto lockers are 4.3, manual lockers are 4.10.

Glad you did the spin test, now just make absolutely sure that the new diff is 4.10.

So how do i find out what my gear ratio is that is currently in my 4Runner? If this chart is wrong...u said that urs says A04A and that would be like 4.56 but ur gear ratio is 4.30?? i really need to figure out what my gear ratio is without tearing it apart and counting the teeth???

I did the spin test on the Elocker and it has 4.10 gears.

Dude, IMHO, if you're willing to spend that much cash, buy this instead:
TOYOTA E-LOCKER SINGLE PANEL

Same cost...looks waaaayyyy nicer and you can choose what message you want stamped into the switch plate. It is a plug-n-play solution. I bought the switch, the 17' harness, and requested my face-plate quote. My avatar says it all. Disclaimer: I do not work for nor even know 12Volt Guy personally...I just really like his work. He answered a question I had in 5 minutes...at 10:00 at night.

OH, and FWIW...all you guys talking about what gearing came with what yota I can tell you this; my 97 SR5 came with 4.10's stock, but when I geared up for my 33's, I went all Toyota. I found a full rear axle (drum to drum) that was elockered, ABS'd, and 4.56 geared...stock. I found it in a 4Runner in a salvage lot in Erie Colorado for $500. I thought the wrecked runner was a Limited with the 31x10.5 tire package, but later I read that 3rd gens only had the 4.56 gears if they were 4-bangers. Well, I guess it doesn't really matter at this point because I know what I have and that it's stock and it came from a 4Runner (I helped pull the axle and load it). And lastly, I acquired the matching high-pinion 4.56 front diff from a salvaged Tacoma in WI. :

You can do the spin test on the one in there without taking anything apart. Search for "spin test" in the google search bar in this forum, and the first result gives you the instruction for doing it on the vehicle. You should just count the teeth on the one that's not on the vehicle, I can't really see doing the spin test on a diff that is on a bench.
