Does anyone know the purpose for the knob that says "MAIN BEAM NIGHT VIEW"?

Edit: Oops, this is off a LX470 not GX... maybe someone still knows?

I have an old '03 LX470 brochure - and "night view" was a new option starting in '03 that used infrared technology to detect things even beyond the reach of the headlights and it would project an image on your lower windshield of stuff like deer on the side of the road, etc. I'm not sure if this option is still offered on the 3rd gen '08 LX570 or not?

Yup thats for the night vision in the LX470. Im guessing the adjuster of the brightness or sensitivity. The new LX does not offer that anymore. Instead they offer a camera in front hehe . =P
