Guys, got my 2005 SE 2 weeks ago but no manual was included, one on its way.

In the meantime, WTF is this; it loos like a plug above the "P" for park it sits on the shift column. Looks like a diagnostic port of some sort.

i believe its to get your runner out of park to overide stepping on brake if the runner is dissabled.

Yes. If the brake/shift interlock fails you put the key in that hole, place the vehicle in 'N', remove the key and start it. It prevents you from being stranded because of that relay failing.

You can buy a plastic cover for that button at your dealer for about $.85. I had to buy one for mine to.
