I was at the junk yard this morning scouring a '99 Limited, and as I was looking at the passenger's side of the rear end, this drum stuck out as odd to me. Any ideas on what the deal is with this drum?? (Note the lug holes) I guess someone drilled them out, but why? The elongated holes were relatively clean-cut.......weird.
What's up with this drum?

Looks like a spacer?
In the pic, it does kinda look like a spacer, but I thought in person it looked to just be the drum. (Now you have me wondering - LOL)

A spacer, or the original owner wanted a different size lug thread to go with some custom wheels with bigger bolt holes. The active holes look to be larger than the originals, hence my theory. Try a stock lug nut on that thread to be sure. Or, this is some random drum he had lying around, and he "made it fit".
