Mines name is Toot Toot because it ran like crap when we got it runs smooth now but the name stuck lol.

This thread made me laugh! I have owned some real doozies in my day, but they have all had names. Cars develop personalities and they become part of the family, they gotta have names!
My first "car" was an 88 3/4 ton ex-law enforcement Suburban, she was green, huge steel bumpers, no creature comforts and 365k miles, and drank gas and and breathed fire, "Monster" was a fitting moniker.
Then a Chevy Citation, paid $50 for the car and drove that POS til it stopped, almost my whole senior year. It was ghetto as hell. But cheap, fun times were had by all in that "Skank Wagon"
Then a Gen 2 4Runner named "Forest" because it just kept running. Also it was dark green.
A few other good ones have come and gone too. Currently my wife drives "Beau" a very manly chevy pickup, he is kind of a beast.
And my 97 Runner is named "Red October" after the fictitious Russian submarine with all of the top secret modifications. Or just affectionately "Red"

My 2001 SR5's name is Charissa (pernounced like Carissa). :yo:
It just felt right calling her Carissa... and I decided on the H spelling route because the Thundercloud color is close to "Charcoal". Also, upon research.. I discovered spelling it as Charissa, the Greek meaning is "Grace, Loving, Beauty".. and after all the problems I had with my Chevy before throwing my hands up to God and saying, "I need a vehicle I can rely on, pleeease.." I was looking for some grace.
