In my past experience only vehicles that are unreliable earn a name. Like I had friend in college who inherited an huge station wagon that was named "The Big Gulp" for it's appetite. :lookout:

Another friend sometimes had to take a car that belonged to her office out in the field. It was a dirty, crapped out Dodge 4 door that looked like it might have been a retired police car. It's nick name was "La Bomb-ba."

P.S. Ethel is beautiful and looks reliable.
