I read a lot of people's posts complaining about minor negative qualities on the 5th Gen 4Runner, but I would think that most of us are very happy with it, so how about a good thread about the things we love about it?

What do you like the best about your new 4Runner compared to previous cars/trucks you've owned?

Stock ground clearance/ride height of the TE.

Seems whenever someone comments about my truck they always ask if it is lifted. Funny thing is...I'm still planning to install an OW 2.5 kit with SAW rear coils for some more lift.

Good post - timely - I tire of the carping.

Not sure I could pick a favorite feature - I just plain like this truck. I like the look, the features, the ride, the power, the R E L I A B I L I T Y, the price-point. I feel good riding in this thing - I've received nothing but compliments.

It's not a Lexus, nor a LC, nor a Sequoia - seems some should have bought those.

The interior is what finally set me on the 5th gen. Also the rear power window with the controls on the outside.

I think mine may be the reverse camera and beeping alert from getting too close to backing into something. Never thought I would ever need it, but it's pretty nice to be able to see exactly how close you are getting.

I guess I'm gonna be the Black Sheep here as I don't think there are many features on our 4Runners. Features are pretty sparse IMO with regards to the interior which is where I wanted my features.

The roll down window is the ONLY reason I bought a 4Runner (I own a large breed dog)......so I guess that is my favorite feature.

Don't get me wrong, I like my 4Runner (owned a 1G back in the days) and owned a Tacoma as well but for $40k, I expected a few more toys/features/upgrades to our SUV.

My LandRover Freelander has this. I love this feature and this is one of the reasons I ordered the 4Runner.

I love the body on frame truckness. This thing feels more solid than anything I have ever driven. The motor is sweet, and the X-REAS suspension is perfect for me.

I have only had my 4r for 2 weeks now but...

I love the KDSS. It gives a better road feel and still allows amazing travel at slower speeds.

moonroof!!! my 2008 wrx does not have one....

4wd system. Amazing

Back up cam is cool.

I had only driven V8 muscle cars for the past 18 years.

I love that it feels like I am driving a tank around town. The height, stance and presence of the vehicle just makes it fun to drive.

my 1st and previous truck was a brand new 86 landcruiser fj60 which came only one way;fully loaded with everything and no options offered.
i luv my 2010 TE b/c it reminds me of my l/c; ie. also offered only as a "package deal" (plus KDSS) not only as a true and capable 4wd truck, but now with the added luxury of safety features, current tech. features and alot better mpg (20mpg in TE vs. 12-14mpg in L/C)!

Here's a new one... I LOVE the staggered cup holders. When I test drove the truck and briefly examined the console I thought it was weird not having the usual side by side arrangement. This layout is far superior though.

Auto Up/Down on ALL windows (can't believe more vehicles on the road do not have this)
Chunky steering wheel - love how this feels and the Toyota logo in the center is amazing looking
Middle row reclining seats - my kids absolutely love this and we can't wait to take it on vacation!
Rear wiper tucked inside spoiler - took a trip with friends (we followed them) last weekend in 10 degree weather and their wiper would not clean off the rear window in their Denali because it was frozen
