What’s your first mod gonna be?

I'd suggest staying away from any spacer lift and go full suspension + body if you need more clearance for tires. I think I read somewhere or was told that the spacer pucks on the springs can actually worsen the overall spring/ suspension. Check out the Bilstein 5100s lots of people on here have em including myself and I couldn't be happier. Just added an additional 1.5" body lift over the weekend and it's looking sick!

PS I ALSO HAD A TOYTEC SPACER LIFT PUCK FOR LIKE 10 YEARS BEFORE AND IT WAS FINE. ALTHOUGH I DIDNT CHARGE AS HARD AS I DO NOW. FIRST AMAZON PURCHASE LOL.

First mod will be getting it home and washing it thoroughly. That hood modification for 3rd gens looks pretty cool, maybe I'll go with that. If not, led interior. Maybe the beefy LBJ's. So many options.

Endless List

I have my mind set on removing the front end assembly to get lights and a controller installed. Seem like a logical place to start.

grafting a 4runner hood scoop on my T100 hood

Rear subwoofer panel

I decided to go straight for the audio system... taking pics along the way, up to step 15. I need to back and do some easier mods after this and do some cosmetics and will definitely get some ideas from this forum.

Wish I could worried about mods rn bought a busted 04 with low miles and have lots of repairs to do. First mod is prolly going to be LED lights on the interior then a nice radio. Mini mods.

Mine was wheels from a BJ60 i think? The guy selling them to me said they were off an imported land cruiser and although they look like the USDM 4 spoke 2nd gen wheels they have a slightly more aggressive offset. I haven't compared them too closely to my friends OEM wheels but I think they look great.

If new tires counts, that's what I did today with my new '23 OR. Put on 265/70/17 Cooper Rugged Treks and they look great and are louder than stock but not too loud.

Will be adding Bilstein 5100s all around, cornfed rear spacers, and spidertrax wheel spacers hopefully this weekend - as soon as I get my torque wrench back from the calibration shop.

Basic and Easy

First "mods" if you can call them that, are vinyl blackouts on the ORP wheels, bug shield, LED interior lights, Raptor lights and some hitch/grille badges.

Its only a week old so I don't want to go too nuts....ha...yet
