Mine is a 2006 Sport V-6 with 240K miles . Have replaced a radiator and had the head gasket problem around 210K . I can't find anything I like better . Really dislike the current 4-Runner mostly because they made it bigger for some unexplained reason . Maybe I can hang-on until 2018 but doubt they will go more compact . A few years back , the Highlander may have been an option but they have screwed that up as well . Looks like a mini-van . If I'm forced to buy something , it may be an Outback .

03 Sport Edition 4WD with the V6 just hit 160K. I purchased it in February of 2014 with 108K
For the most part it has been great! I've had to replace the radiator and front right ABS wheel speed sensor and wiring harness. That is about it! Other than the usual gas, tires and oil... I love it! I need it to last me a few more years. I would buy another T4R in a heartbeat! Or maybe a Tacoma...

2 timing belts, front wheel bearings and just routine scheduled maintenance stuff, fluids, plugs, brakes, etc. still on the second set of michelins. 100k on these with some tread left.
i still love this thing after 8 years. there is nothing out there in the category that comes close to them IMO.
