Wheel Choices

Simple Poll this AM (East coast)...

Currently running 255/75/17 BFG MT on the OEM 17s.

Trying to decide between the Limited 18" wheels, or some FN Trd Pro wheels.

Whats your choice!?

I have the 18" limited wheels and I would recommend getting 17" wheels. Just look at the price difference in the tires. I like my wheels, but wouldn't have bought them. Look at the Method Mesh

This. Tire selection and prices are notably worse for 18" wheels.

Thanks for the "votes" thus far! I purposely left off my reasoning for how I ended up between the two choices of wheels. One of the main considerations is the size options (counter-intuitive to what some your feedback has been!)

I am leaning heavily toward the 18" Limited's because of the option to run either a 265/70/18 (~32.6x10.4) or a 275/70/18 (~33.2x10.8). I currently am running the "pizza cutters", 255/75/17 BFG MT's. I would like something a little wider, and those two sizes for 18s grab my attn in terms of a good width/profile.

If I go with the FN TRD Pro's it would be mainly to add some color variation. I really love the matte bronze FN produces, but also think the gunmetal finish would look good against the white/black on my runner now.

I am running Bfg KO2's in a 275/75/18 E rated and that was the best priced tire with size. Good tire so far. I did lose about 2.5 mpg

Any rubbing or trimming needed?

Removed my mud flaps, move the inner fenders forward, and had to trim just a little bit off of the inside of the front bumper on the inside of the wheel well.
