Wheel fitment?

Just curious and I know they will fit but I was just double checking, will a set of 17" sequoia rims fit my 95 4runner with 4wd, I don't know if the sequoia is a 4wd or 2wd does it matter, I know that it should bolt in cause it's a six lug but I was wondering about the front hubs?

the size of the rim has no bearing on wether or not it can fit. you could run 14 inch rims, with a 29 inch tire, or 20 inch rims with a 29 inch tire. the diameter of the tire is what will matter, not the size of the rim. if you want to look all "blinged" out, then go for a larger rim, and a low profile tire. but remember, the larger the rim, the more expensive the tire will be :)

That's not strictly correct. Rim diameter and backspacing will affect whether or not a rim will fit on a particular vehicle. For example, you cannot run 15" rims (with the same backspacing as the factory 16" rims) on an FZJ80 because they won't clear the brake calipers.

Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to the original question but I didn't want him to think that he could put anything on that has a 6 lug Toyota pattern.

very good point. i was meaning in a very general sense, but you are right, i should have mentioned diameter and backspacing.

they might fit but the only real way to find out is just to try putting them on. I bought some rims that fit a Tundra and had the same lug pattern as mine but the hubs on my truck were too big and the rims wouldn't fit. hope this helps some

defiantly check the front hubs on the sequoia rims...same bolt pattern wont always work. my uncle had a set of really nice 17" american racings rims with BF m/t's on them and they didnt fit my 4runner. they were on his 95 tahoe. 4runners have big A$$ front hubs (comparing to other 6on5.5 style rims)

worst comes to worst, you can take a grinder and grind out a space big enough for the hub to fit. i also treid putting my dads old jimmy 16" rims running on 33's on my runner. bolt pattern was identical, but my runners hub wazs WAY to big. i was going to just bust out a grinder or plasma cutter, but i dont think the pa would have been to pleasd :)
