I am still havign troble picking a tire too. I realy like the ones I have now 265/75 Mitchelin ltx, but I want a more aggressive tire. I like the new BFG AT KO's and I like the BS AT revo's.

The 4runner is going to be the family car (other car is an Evo) and I go off roading sometimes twice in one weekend. I think the tire I end up with will be one of the 2 mentioned. Sometimes I want an off road max tration like an MT/r, but I don't think it would be practicle.

If any of you use either of these tires and have some input maybe it could help me make up my mind.

After reading 30 or so reviews on tire rack the results are inconclusive for the BS at revo.

some people claim 50k miles with no prob and others say the tire must be replaced at 30k miles, some sooner. Overall, the tire seems to have more negitive feedback than good.

seems like he was getting a little rubbing w/ 285's. I might have to go to a shop that will size up the tires before install to make sure they fit.

I just finished puting my OME 2" coils on. LOVE IT! I like the way it looks, I was worried it would look awkward but the Michlin's LTX' 265/75 fills the hole well. So I will run these tires to the grave and after that, I am sure I will want more Extreme action:rocker:

while i can't comment on the longevity as i've only had them for 10k miles, i can say the Revos have been great tires so far.
grip in rain and snow has been awesome, tire noise is about the same as the stock goodyears and the traction offroad is much improved over the goodyear tires.
i give them two thumbs up.
