Wheel Gurus need your help.

Hello all need your help before I finalize my order. I'll be purchasing 18x9 -12 wheels and have narrowed my tire selection to either 275/70/18 (33.16") vs. 295/65/18 (33.1") I know board member PopsSmith was able to run 275/70/18 on his stock limited with just minor modifications. Would I be able to run the wider but smaller overall diameter 295s with minor modifications or should I just go with the 275s. Right now I'm stock height and will be getting the truck lifted real soon. Yours thoughts on this will be greatly appreciated. Not very many board members running either tire sizes so I could not find too much info. Thanks

Probably the best person to answer your question is harper7. He's done more work on fitting over-sized tires than just about anyone.

At a minimum, you'll have to do the front fender liner mod and have the alignment set WAY forward, at least a caster of +4 if not more. You might need to do the front body mount mod as well.

Thanks Grant. I think I bugged him enough already through PM with some other questions I've decided there is no in between and I'm gonna invest first in the ICON Stage 2 then get the wheels installed. I'll go with the 295s. I'll trim as much as I need to to make the setup work. Thanks

Just get an aftermarket front bumper then you won't have to worry about cutting the fenders.
