Wheel opinions...

I have run across these:

I can get 5 for $225, or I can pick up some plain steel rims for 200.

What do you all think?

Yeah, the wheels on the vehicle in the pic are what I have on my Runner now.

Frame of reference here: I am looking to have two sets of wheel/tires. One summer set with Dueller RVT's and one winter set with Blizzaks.

I don't want to have to do tire changeovers every spring and fall.


If I get those wheels in the pic, I am thinking of painting them black.

I think the wheel that's leaning against your truck is not very good looking. I would get some cheap steel wheels. I have Cragar Soft 8s and they were ~$270 shipped brand new (set of 4) from summitracing.com and I think they look sweet.

I would try find a set of stockers to match what you already have on your 4r, this way summer or winter your vehicle looks the same. you can usually find a set on craigslist for 150, if your patient.

I just looked at those Cragar rims at Summit Racing, and it would cost 413.36 to buy and get them here. Too steep for me.

ill hate to be right.... but acknowledging my vehicles.. infinity refuses to look ugly.... ill say the "wannabe 4runner" ....Mitsubishi montero sports these rims
