Looking at either getting these and painting them graphite:

Toyota OEM Tundra factory Alloy wheels rims 16" Tacoma - eBay (item 300507307523 end time Jan-20-11 11:30:34 PST)

Or getting these and keeping them how they are:

Toyota FJ Cruiser 2007-2011 TRD 16" Rims Set OEM NEW - eBay (item 130461396119 end time Jan-31-11 08:40:09 PST)

I'm running 285 Nitto's. They are currently on the stock '02 Limited rims. Should I pick up a set of 1/4" spacers just to be safe when I pull the trigger? A bit wider stance would look nice too.

Both wheels are cool. The FJ wheels have a little bit more "wow" factor. But of all the 16" tundra wheels those are my favorite.(powder coat them flat black!!) both of the wheels you should be able to run w/o spacers. But that's your call I'm not a fan. Good luck!

I think I'm leaning towards the Tundra wheels too. Both will look great painted a darker shade.

I would personally just paint your stock limited wheels graphite that would look the best.

maybe some landcruiser wheels(16x8) off a 92-95?
with the 285 75 you have, it should sit nicely w/ the flares on the ltd.
picked these up last weekend in your neck of the woods(reston,va) for 200 (craigslist)and painted them smoked metallic...now i wish i had 285's ...


btw: if you're running 231 tundra brakes,there'll be some grinding needed to these wheels-i learned the hard way lol...fyi

The TRD's only come in the 16" every other FJ wheel is 17" it's so you get the taller sidewall for wheelin'

I like the tundra wheels too, the FJ's are too "loud" unless your going for an all out built rig (imo).
