Wheel Painting-Gloss Black or Flat?

Hey guys. Got some new Rock Crawlers for my runner, but am paining my old, ugly wheels for my brother's 93 pickup. I can't decide if I should pain them gloss or flat black, though. I have heard flat is easier to touch up, but they won't see much offroad use. I like the look of the gloss on my 4runner. What do you think?

I love the look of the flat black.....or I did a texture black on everything on my 4runner...headlights, tube steps, roof rack, wheels, exhaust tip, heck event the skid plates to cover all that rust up...

I'm a big fan of flat (matte) or satin black on wheels whether is a 4runner or a Audi S4...it just looks great!

Flat black with some clear coat may achieve the same results.

I used high temperature (BBQ) grill paint on my rims and it turned out fine.

Even if it is not offroad, one stray shopping cart or dropped item when loading moving something and you will be glad you went with flat
