wheel questions

been looking at these 20 inch wheels for some time and i see they have a 5 bolt pattern and I think all 96 or 99-02 4runners have 6 bolt patterns. Is their still a way to fit a 5 bolt wheel on to my car?

You can get a hub adapter to change the bolt pattern, but I wouldn't advise it. It just adds another component that may fail. Also it alters your suspension geometry slightly as the adapter pushes the wheel out a bit. I'm not a suspension expert so I can't say if the change is dramatic or detrimental but figured I'd mention it.

It's just easier to find another wheel model

dang i was hopin to get these since they are just so nice.
ill call and see if they do make a 6 bolt and ask them to . otherwise i guess it is another wheel model

I agree 100%...just as with running track spacers, you are adding additional length (arm) to the spindle and as such by going to a larger diameter (and always heavier) you are adding alot of force to that spindle and the components that are there at the wheel.

Its really not worth it if you ask me, as you can find another wheel that looks like it or maybe even have one created.

yeah thats one thing i dont wanna do.. create more stress or problems for my car. I love it and want to keep it until the wheels fall off (literally)

also how do i figure out my bolt pattern and the diameter of the bolt pattern.

Looking at another series of wheels so i can decide what this will range me in price.
