wheel shaking above 50?

i have some moderate steering wheel shake above 50mph. umm well acculy its like the whole front end. just got 33s put on her. could it just be a balance prob? of something more serious?:/ its a 92 sr5 5speed.

Did you take her wheeling? Mud on the rims or drivetrain can screw with balance & cause vibration issues. Two minutes with a hose might fix it.

If not then yeah, sounds like your new 33"s are out of whack. Maybe try rotating them or get them re-balanced.

Well if you didn't have the problem before the 33's, the new tires may not have been balanced properly.
 
Most likely the tires. I got 31's on my t4r and I had to take them back to Big O two times to get them rebalanced. The last time one of the main techs went back and made sure they were balanced right. What kind of tires did you just put on?

Yeah I had some snow/ice stuck onto the inside of the rims of mine once and it made the whole car shake until finally it flew off and all went back to being only a little but shakey. 8) Surprising what a large fist sized bit of snow can do to your wheels balance.
