Wheel Spacers Needed ASAP or No?

Just finished installing my 3" Toytec Ulitmate lift and the Front Tires Rub on the UCA's BAD BAD BAD. Freaking me out afraid to drive and settle the suspension BAD. Is this normal? I ran down to car quest and picked up some 1/4" spacers but I still cant get the tire off the UCA's? Im about to go buys some spidertrax Spacers but shouldn't a toytec 3" suspension lift fit 285/75 x 16? Its a stock wheel? I dunno, any help would be great as i'm bombing around in the farm truck until I get the tires clear of the UCA's, Not destroying my sidewalls so I can figure this out. :lookout:

Yeah that happens with our front suspension because the more the LCA drops, the closer it pulls the wheel.

If you need Spidertrax spacers, let me know...I'm looking to upgrade to wider spacers, and I'll part with these 1.25" ones...PM me

Yes!
Most people that run a 285 (depending on tire brand, some are taller and/or wider) need spacers or a wheel with less back spacing.

Either will increase the arc of the tire and can cause more wheel well rubbing when turning.

Theres another solution. When I got my truck it had 265s on it but the previous owner had 35"s. After I installed my 285's I found he had 3/4? or was it 1-1/4 spacers AND he had the UCA cut and welded. I removed the spacers, [like the skinny profile]

ANyways it looked very simple. Cut the controll arm and weld.

Wow just put a tape on my stock 3 spokes vs my 06 taco rims. Guess what? .5" less offset on the taco rims! Effin A cotton! Effin A! Liny I PMed you. Any body know a good welder in North Florida, gonna grind down the UCA's and space these things out. But the rig does look sick! Sigh postponing the build thread yet again:violin:

yeah the taco rims are your problem. i am running 285's on stock wheels with very minor rubbing on the UCA.
