More than a few people here I have seen running BORA spacers as well. I know they carry 1" for sure, and I've heard that they can make other sizes to order. Wheeler's Off Road carries them and other places too.

This has always been my concern too. Hopefully somebody with firsthand knowledge can help out. My 1.25” spacers are just a little too big.

Depends on your wheels. Take off your wheels and look to see if there is a channel on the inside where the studs would protrude from beyond the spacer. I run 1" BORA spacers with SCS Ray10's with no problem. The SCS rims would probably be fine with 3/4" cause they have space for the stud.

Running 1" Bora spacers on TRD Pro wheels. No Issues

I believe trd pro wheels have the relief cut into the mating surface that would allow the wheel to sit flush even if the studs are longer than an inch. I know the trail wheels are flat all around. I may have to just take a wheel off and measure the stud length from the hub.

You may want to do this differently...

The idea of a wheel spacer under 1" makes me queezy as an engineer if you are doubling studs.:lalala:

The better plan is to have longer studs installed in your current flanges and have a spacer plate with the wheel centering in it and holes for the studs. This will be more expensive but less likely to fail in a way that kills you...

sorry for the hijack...but are wheel spacers required if you put 285/70/17's on the SR5 wheels?

wondering if wheel spacers are needed to make clearance from the UCA (factory).

No you shouldnt need it, may only need to do the fender liner mod. Now if you put spacers that may make your wheels rub even more.

You can cut down a Spidertrax if you had a lathe too.

SR5 Wheels are off being powdercoated at the moment.
When i had the 275 cooper AT3's on...I remember there was definatley some room between the 275's and the UCA for bigger tires.

but second guessing myself looking at the 285 duratrac's next to the 275 AT3's...they are pretty beastly in comparison!! was worried i needed some wheel spacers.

Rear lugs measure 1 1/16 on the rear lugs. So 1.25 spacer is the minimum unless you have wheels with the recess between bolt holes.

You might need spacers if you are running aftermarket UCA's, but for the most part, people use spacers to make the car's stance look better, otherwise your tires will look sunkin in, and with a lift, the sunken in look will be even more apparent.
