Wheel spacers? Yay or Nay?

If they are the exact same metal and design then yes, brand doesn't matter. But what you're paying extra for with a name brand item is knowing that the type of metal and design of the part are proven. An ebay listing can say whatever type of metal they want, but most people have no way to ever check. For example there's a huge difference between plain 6061 aluminum and 6061-T6. And unless you carefully measure ebay parts vs name brand you don't know that the design is the same even if they look the same at first glance.

very true, that is why you always buy one that has a great return policy. Buy and check them out, if they are not the same metal, then return it, simple as that. I guess you are right and can say most people do not have the resources to check what kind of metal it is. But that's what I did, and my metal is in fact 6061-T6 aluminum, and I only paid $125 shipped for them. I bought them from a company in USA, so returns would not be a hassle compared to buying them from China or overseas. If buying "aluminum" from China, then I would be skeptical about them.

If you go with the ebay ones like I did, you will want to change your front lug studs so they get more bite. There were a few brave souls that run them with the shorter stock studs, but that was not for me. After changing mine I've had them on for 200 or so miles with no issue.

I think sydertrax is a product of good marketing so people pay way more for a "known" product.

I was thinking of purchasing spacers from the forum in the classified sharing a link to a seller on eBay name rdcobra91. The sellers offer 1.25", 1.5", & 2" for under $140.

i've never ran those, but I have not heard anyone complain about them so far. Just make sure you install them correctly, and I think you will be fine.

Do you have to trip the OEM lug nuts when you put the spacers on?

I have a set on my Jeep and I had to trim the lug nuts on the Jeep so if I take the spacers off then I have to get new lug nuts.

I got some Spidertrax for just under $200 delivered, on some sale.

Get Spidertrax and use a torque wrench and the red Loctite as specified. You'll be fine.

Don't cheap out. 40 bucks isn't worth your life or someone else's.

They are 1.25 and no issues at all at any speeds.

No alignment needed after wheel spacers. Unless your alignment was out before wheel spacers.

What will hubcentric spacers do to your wheel hub long terms? Will they reduce the lifespan of the wheel hub or bearing?
