So I picked up what I think was a pretty good deal this week. A set of 4 stock 5-spoke wheels off a 2000, in ok condition, significant peeling and bubbling, but no road rash w/ centercaps for $125. They match my stock set. I plan on repainting them gunmetal or black eventually.
Later that day, I got a set of 4 firestone destination LE's 265/70-16, 70% tread, $150.
Got them mounted and put on last night, they drove great this morning. Got out of my snow covered driveway in 2WD, which I couldn't even come close to with my old tires.
Now I have an extra set of 2005 tacoma wheels I need to get rid of. I should have been more patient and not gotten them.
I'll be posting them soon if anyone near Boston wants them.
