Since when is $830 good money? What if you only spent $400? would it matter then? What about $300? What about the guy who spends $4,200 in one shot? Is his customer loyalty worth more than yours? Not trying to beat a dead horse, and I know $800 isn't chump change, but look at the big picture for the business. You should be able to sell those spacers on Craigslist, ebay, this forum, etc...

Seems to me this is pretty one sided.
Look at it as a contract... A contract of sale if you will. They held up their end of the deal by providing you what you ordered at the price they asked. Your end of the deal, was to return any items within their 30-day window, less a restocking fee.
No one can explain this any better.... You didn't hold up your end of the "contract" by trying to return your items before the end of the 30 day return period. You have no one to blame but yourself. If you weren't prepared to install the purchased items then you should have waited to purchase.
You are lucky they offered you anything in return period.
Suck it up, post the parts in the classifieds thread here, get some cash and call it a day.

For every 100 customers there is bound to be one that feels they deserve special attention. Yeah it sucks, you didn't get your way so let's go lamblast them on a public forum. Certainly now they will bend over backwards to make you happy, and if not then I'm sure they will miss doing business with you in the future. On second thought, no they won't, because they have 99 other customers that are and have and will always be happy with the service they received within company boundaries. I for one have never bought anything from them but I have called many times and picked their brains so as to make sure I got the correct parts and nothing more then what I needed. They are a great bunch of people and will surely now make sure I do business with them in the future.

I've been buying from wheelers for over 10 years. They've always been competitive, price matched, and most of their stuff has free shipping anyway. I think you're pissy because you expected rational people (forum members) to share your outrage, when in fact, no one sees eye to eye with you.
I think you need to take a breath and remember that life's not fair. It must still be pretty amazing if you can afford to own and mod a 4runner.
