Wheels and Tires and Leveling(?)

I'm new to the forum. Have been lurking for years and finally ready to get rid of the old tires on our 2012 Limited.

Looking at:
XD Addicts 18" w/ -12 offset
Terra Grapplers 285/60/18

I'm getting told that I can do this setup w/ no leveling kit. From looking here it looks like that may not be the case - can anyone confirm? Thanks, fired up looking at all of these great rides.
