I am about to pull the trigger on some changes to my 2006 limited. Namely Donahoes up front, Deaver springs in the rear, new wheels (since there is nothing for these 18's), and a set of MT/Rs in either 285s or 275s.
First of all, I would like to use these Lexus wheels, but I can't determine how wide they are. Does anyone here know if they are 7" or 7.5"? Will they have the right backspacing?
If those wheels won't work, does anyone know the ultimate width/backspacing for wheels with 285s on a 4th generation? I hopefully want to get this right the first time.
Also... since I am leaning towards 285s should I also do a body lift? And if so, 1", 1.25" or 1.5" - I am guessing the Roger Brown is always the right choice.
I am looking for a nice, balanced truck - I'm driving it to Alaska this summer!
Thanks,
-Mike
