When Did You Replace Your Tires ?

Mine is an 07 Limited with 45K miles on the clock. Tires are getting a bit chancey in the rain anymore. I don't really show any alignment wear or anything like that, and they are rotated every 10K miles. Maybe the OEM Bridgestones are not long on life.

This seems a bit early for me considering my other SUV's, what are you guys (and gals) experiencing?

I agree. You should still get around 60-70K miles though. I would rotate the tires every 5k, not 10k. Your driving habits, and type of surface you commonly drive on can affect mileage longevity as well.

On my 99 I replaced the tires at almost 40k miles. For the 07, I did not make the same mistake. I took them off and sold them while they still had a fairly nice value on craigslist, before I even got gas for the first time which was at about the 300 mile mark.

2004 SE 105k - got 55K on the original Dunlops. Replaced them with the same and got 47K on them. Replaced these with Firestone Destination LE. Will find out how long these last. 85% of the driving is interstate.

I replaced my Dunlops at around 20K. The tire were down to the wear lines already and had plugs in two of the 5 tires. I know I am hard on tires and live in Florida and the roads aren't the best for tire longevity. I hope to get more than 20k out of my Nitto's.

Replaced original Dunlops at 60k but...... was overdue about by 10k to 15k.

the oe bridgestones and dunlops suck... only the mich ct's are decent oe tires. i have 55k miles on the front 2 mich ct's (had to replace a blow out at 40k miles, got a new tire and used the new spare for the other side). i have to say they wear really well, but are also pretty expensive.

I have 70k on the original Dunlops now. Was on the vehicle when I got it when it had 61k. I know I need to change them, but it still has some tred left. I am unemployed, so that is hard to do at the moment.

I replaced my OE Cross-Terrains at 56k. I five tire rotate and could have easily, safely and legally run another 6-7k but that's it. I wanted new tires and I couldn't turn down 5 GYSA's with road hazard and an alignment for under $800 OTD.

I drove hard and off roaded a bit with my Nittos over 4 years and got about 45k miles out of them which I was satisfied and I replaced them when the wear bars were right below the tread and their wet weather traction was noticeably getting worse.

Replaced the OEM Dunlops at 29k miles with some Yokohama AT-S. Great so far. Not real impressed with the OEM tires.

Replaced my OEM Bridgestone Duelers @ 55K after 4 years with BFG KOs. Then replaced my BFG KOs @ 72K after 2 years with Yokohama Geolandar's A/T-S. I now have 92K and they still look brand new.

Just replaced the cracking Dunlops with BFG Long Trail T/A's.

The OE Cross Terrains lasted 61k for me w/ tire rotations started around 20k. The fronts wore faster and two of them needed to get plugged from nails. One was sacrificed on the altar of road debris and the original spare lasted the longest and will continue as my permanent spare.

Replaced with GYSA's.

Just replaced my '06 SR5's 17" OEM Dueler 840s with 65k on 'em yesterday with Yokohama Geolander HT/S GO51's. Still had some tread (99% lead-footed city/highway miles) left but with the snow upon us here I thought it was time. I didn't think the originals were as bad as others do.

I did research for months on the replacements (about every all-season and AT available) - was a toss up between the HT/S GO51s, Geo AT/S, and Firestone Destination ATs. The Revo2s were on sale but still way overpriced in my opinion. I don't offroad so I figured the ATs were overkill - and if you can't already drive in snow around here the ATs aren't gonna keep you out of a ditch. Very interested to see how these Geo's handle a New England winter.
