when do u use DAC and differential lock?

The manual is pretty clear about this as well as many posts on this site, but to give you a short summary, you would use the DAC when decending a steep rocky slope in 4Low where you wanted to make a very slow decent and wanted to keep your attention focused entirely upon the path that you are taking.
You would use the Diff. Lock when traversing any off-road kind of path in either 4Low or 4High where you wanted to send equal amounts of power the front and rear axles, like sand or mud, etc.
